From doing video work, to making videos work.

When Raph and I started DOJO in Brisbane back in 2021, we were two passionate young blokes who wanted to make cool videos for cool people. We loved what we did, the light, the sound all in all the art of storytelling which both Raph and I really enjoyed. We filmed everything events, music videos, corprate films, ads, literally everything. Countdown to today we have almost crossed 800 projects fast, and built a reputation on pure passion.

Usually we spend hours and hours in doing a well-made brand film. The team is happy. The client is super excited and then, two weeks later, nobody is talking about it. It's like a shooting star brilliant, but gone in a flash. That's the reality many media businesses out there ignore and do nothing about it.

The teams were happy, the comments were nice, but eventually, someone would ask the tough question: "Did this actually help the business?"

We could have just shrugged and said, "Our job was just to make the video." But if we truly care about your story, we have to care about what happens after day one. Handing you a perfect video and walking away is a failure of responsibility. It's giving you a beautiful product with no way to sell it.

The Real Question: From What to Why

The moment we realized the truth was simple: The problem wasn't the video itself; it was what happened after it was delivered.

A great-looking film without a system is a luxury item. A great-working video built into a sales plan is an asset.

We changed just one key question we ask clients:

The Old Way: The DOJO 2.0 Way:
"What video do you want?" "Why do you need this video?"

That small change pulled us out from behind the camera and straight into your business strategy. It forces us to define the job of the content.

Building a System for Growth

The way people buy things has changed. No one relies on just one post anymore. They jump from a quick Reel on Instagram or TikTok to a detailed explainer on YouTube, checking multiple small clips on their phone. They decide to trust you or move on very quickly. If your story isn't clear and present at every step, you lose them.

This is why we rebuilt the company and brought in Narain. He helped us take our passion for video and turn it into a clear, repeatable system. We still have the heart of an artist, but now we have the spine of a strategist.

This led to our 6S System a straightforward way to make sure your video doesn't just look good, it works hard.

It starts by Studying your audience, moves into clear Strategize and Storytelling (using the right format like live-action or AI-assisted only when it makes sense). Crucially, we put Systems in place for file management and repurposing, Shooting with platforms in mind, and finally Share & Scale, pushing only the winners.

The Discipline of Making Video Pay: Solving the Wasted Spend

The biggest problem isn't making content; it's making content that converts.

Too many companies—from big Corporates and growing SMEs (in B2B and B2C), to ambitious Personal Brands—waste money on videos that go nowhere.

The pain is always the same:

  • You spend a lot on a video, but weeks later, your sales team can’t find the perfect 30-second clip to send in an email. (The video is great, but the system is missing.)

  • Your launch is exciting, but the momentum dies, and your leaders want proof the video actually earned its cost. (You made a one-off item instead of a lasting investment.)

At DOJO 2.0, we fix this by bringing Heart Plus Spine. We don't just care about the art; we care about the Discipline that makes it work. Our 6S System makes videos that pay their way across your entire business.

We turn a single video investment into a compounding asset, making sure every view pushes a lead closer to becoming a customer. That's the DOJO 2.0 promise.

What this means for you:

  • B2B SMEs: We replace long calls with short demos and tutorials. You get shorter sales cycles.

  • Ecommerce & Product Brands: Launch videos become permanent assets—demos that live on product pages and cut down on returns.

  • Founder-Led Teams: We build an authority rhythm: one good short idea weekly, one deep lesson monthly. You look professional without losing your authentic voice.

You will still get a gorgeous film. But you also get a 90-day plan, proven Momentum, and a simple report showing Proof of leads (not just vanity stats).

We are Brisbane-born, but our standard is simple and universal: Does this help your business move?

If you've ever looked at a great video and thought, "This should have done more," we built DOJO 2.0 for you. It's time to choose: Do you want a great-looking video production? Or do you want a great-working content strategy?
